The Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte is the most famous hotel on Viareggio’s seafront,in Tuscany at the West coast of Italy (Pisa, Livorno, Lucca are relatively near by).
The hotel is close to the beach with a beautiful view, near a pine forest - the green lung of the city, at the centre and the promenade, full of boutiques, shops, typical restaurants and nightclubs.
Opened in 1922, the hotel underwent a two-year restoration in 2004 which brought it to a never before seen splendour.
Tuscany is a region famous for its sea, countryside, mountains, culture, art cities, spas, food and wines, traditions, sport and fashions.
The majestic cultural and artistic heritage of Florence and the other art cities, the quality of its beaches and sea (it has more than 20 blue flags), the six UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Palio of Siena, the Carrara white marble quarries, the beautiful countryside and the great Chianti wines: all this and much more go to make up Tuscany which is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of Italy’s most beautiful and vibrant regions.
