Bernini Bristol

"Come to the Bernini Bristol on the bustling Piazza Barberini for a taste of Old World elegance Roman-style." Among the illustrious figures who have sojourned there are Don Pedro II Emperor of Brazil, the Prussian Emperor Frederick II, the Princess of Wales, and the Queen of England.
How the Stage was Set HISTORY IN BRIEF 1874, October 28: Inauguration of the Hotel Bernini Bristol. It was called «The Bristol» in honour of the First Baronet of Bristol, the Protestant Bishop of Bristol, who lived in the 18th century. This name was later coupled with the world-famous Baroque artist Bernini who sculpted the Triton Fountain in Piazza Barberini, situated right in front of the hotel.
