Located in stunning Alpine scenery, The Axelmannstein is one of Bavaria’s most magnificent hotels. It has a long history too, dating back to 1846 in its original form.

The Axelmannstein commands a large part of the pedestrian area in the heart of this charming Bavarian city. It has two restaurants, one is “gemutlich” Bavarian style inn with an open show kitchen, the other one is the fine dining restaurant, with huge windows overlooking the park. Breakfast is served here, too.

The best suites of the house with even larger terraces also overlook the park which also holds a little swimming lake, in case you prefer fresh water to the heated indoor pool.
