Scribe

Hotel Scribe dates back in 1862, at a time when Napoloeon III, was pumping money into a grand imperial scheme to transform Paris into a modern city, drawing on the expertise of the masterly town-planner Baron Georges-Eugène Haussmann. The hotel stands right in the heart of the Hausmannian Paris, nestled between the opera house and classy Place Vendôme. It has recently been extensively redecorated, courtesy of interior designer Jacques Grange, and now provides all the modern comforts of a premier hotel in an historic setting.
