Sometimes a hotel itself becomes a destination in its own right. In this case the Traube prooves it better than many others.
Tobias Finkbeiner, a baker started the Traube in Tonbach (Black Forrest, Germany) in 1789.
When
the Earl of Württemberg granted him the right to serve food and drinks
to anybody, he opened a small inn besides his house. The first tourists
came in 1920 to the Tonbachvalley in the picturesque region of the
Black Forest.
With the rising amount of visitors the Traube had grown into one of the most famous retreats in Germany. Outstanding kitchen and its unique secluded location makes it a secret tip among travellers.
