The hotel opened in 1926 and we have not heard much about it until that legendary meeting in 1954, that became - among certain people - famous. This is the hotel where the Bilderberg Group first met in 1954. The hotel gave its name to the hotel group and to the Bilderbergers (see legendary stories).
