Baldinger: An Artist for famoushotels
THE MOST FAMOUS HOTELS IN THE WORLD is not only committed to the history of great hotels around the world. The organisation is also active in the arts. We try to support artists depicting famous hotels in their work.
Original modern paintings are used on the covers of our books. For our forthcoming publication on the Grand Hotel in Florence, we turned to the celebrated Austrian artist Peter Baldinger. He provided a very fine painting of the Grand Hotel, which proudly adorns the cover of the book.
Other Famous Hotels painted by Baldinger are the Hotel Sacher, Vienna, the Grand Hotel Vienna, the Goldener Hirsch Salzburg and the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong.
